About the botfarm
Hi – call me Mark, saucebook, jigz – I answer to all. I have been interested in robot trading and gaming for the past few years and was one half of the team that brought Amoeba (for Betfair Exchange Game trading) into the world. Sadly Amoeba is no longer supported (although a few diehards still use it, despite knowing its quirks). And both the programmer and I have moved on to other interests. Most of mine involve one form or another of pointing a piece of software at a moneymaking proposition and leaving it running while I go away and do something more interesting. There are obviously plenty of other people with the same interest – I found myself repeating the same bits of information and advice over and over again to forum contributors and senders of private messages and emails. Hence the idea for the site – do a braindump over time of all of my bot experiences and invite other people to fill in the blanks or add their own colour. Private emails will reach me at mark@thebotfarm.com, but if the topics you raise are very interesting, expect to see them recycled in anonymised form in an article!
I should also point out, for the sake of any litigious visitors, that should you buy any of the products I recommend or link to from any page within this site, I may receive a commission from the vendor.
